A Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Commerce, Dr. Lal has dedicated his career to integrating robust governance principles into higher education, financial institutions, and public sector enterprises.
He currently serves as the Chairman of the International Business Valuers Association (IBVA) — a Registered Valuers Organisation recognized by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) for all three asset classes: Land & Building, Plant & Machinery, and Securities or Financial Assets. In this leadership role, he plays a pivotal part in advancing valuation education, upholding professional standards, and fostering regulatory compliance within India’s dynamic insolvency and valuation landscape.
